In this section we are going to look at the software we will use to make our web page. It is called Netscape Composer and it comes with the Netscape Navigator browser we use to look at the Internet.

To open Netscape Composer, press the Start button of the computer, go to Programs, and look for Netscape Communicator. Netscape Composer is one of the options in the menu. |

Don't worry if your display is not exactly the same as shown - different computers have different programs on them.
This is a picture of Netscape Composer when it is first opened. It looks a little like the word processors you have used before. In the next few sections of this guide, we will look at how to use some of the buttons and controls.
