Dinosaurierpark Münchehagen
As a small boy, Philip was a world-expert on dinosaurs
- or at least it seemed like that to us! Dino Park was a regular weekend
outing and Philip never tired of the 'life-size' models scattered over
the hillside.
Since our last visit, many improvements have been made and more dinos
added to the exhibition. It is a good place for a family day out, with
a very well-equipped playground, the dino trail which takes one through
the various pre-historic time periods, the covered exhibition hall with
the real dinosaur footprints discovered on the hillside, and lots of
activities related to paleantology (spelling!!!). Dino Park is not a
theme park. It is an outdoor museum with a serious scientific and educational
objective - presented in an exciting and accessible way.
Dino Park also offers a good self-service restaurant.
